Many of you are on this website because you are or have trained with me in some way or are thinking about training or coming to Boot Camp. That’s great! But, what are you eating?

I CANNOT impress upon you enough the importance of a proper nutrition plan to compliment your workout routine. It is the perfect combination for healthy living. Trust me when I tell you that you can eat flavorful, satisfying foods with your friends and family and still lose weight and/or maintain your weight loss. I did not go from obese to fit by not eating. I still love food and love to eat.

Here’s a few tips: Eat protein and complex carbohydrates and every meal. Be aware of portion sizes. Depending on your activity level, you should be eating 4-6 times per day.

For more details, I will be offering Nutrition Workshops one evening during most Camps. If you have ever attended a Camp or Personal/Group Training, you are welcome to attend for free. This is a great way to absorb critical information to help propel your success. You are working too hard training to sabotage your results with poor diet. Sometimes, these are traps you don’t even know you are in.

I will also check your food journals for troubled spots and we can find ways to get you on track. First, you have to keep a food journal and be honest for that to happen. I am committed to your success, are you?
